5 Good Reasons Why Designers Should Code
This is a really old and tired “debate”. And I usually try to take a pretty balanced and per-project approach on the issue. But I do agree with most of the points in this article. Pretty well presented.
I certainly never believe it’s a prerequisite but there are so many advantages to having the skill set that it’s really hard to understand why any web-based designer wouldn’t learn to code.
Wonderful blog post by @ev on some guidelines for startups. Not surprisingly, these mostly apply to well established companies as well.
